In January 2003, I had the honor of stepping into the role of the first full-time Executive Director of 3-A SSI. As I now prepare to step down, I want to take a moment to express my profound gratitude for the opportunity to serve this exceptional organization. Together, we have built a strong foundation for a bright and promising future.

As I begin my role as Executive Director of 3-A SSI, I am honored to join an organization that plays such a vital role in ensuring food safety through hygienic equipment design standards. I want to express my sincere appreciation to Tim Rugh for his dedicated leadership and to the Board of Directors for entrusting me with this responsibility.

The 3-A Working Group for Vessels and 3-A Steering Committee have approved an amendment to the 3-A Sanitary Standard for Spray Cleaning Devices Intended to Remain in Place, Number 78-04.
