3-A SSI Announces 2024 Summit on Hygienic Design
3-A SSI, the leading resource on hygienic equipment design for food, beverage and pharmaceutical processing, announces a major expansion of its long-running education conference and a new name and location for the event. “We are thrilled to announce the expansion of our yearly education program on hygienic equipment design, now entering its 20th year,” says Tim Rugh, executive director of 3-A SSI. “This year promises to be our most comprehensive and enlightening event yet, with a 50% increase in content, featuring leading experts in our general session, more extensive subject matter experts in optional breakouts and some actual product demos.”
Ramped-up enforcement of the Food Safety Modernization Act, increased consumer demand for product safety and the need to show compliance with U.S. dairy regulations have combined to drive new demand for processing equipment that meets higher levels of proven design criteria. This demand is coming from a wide range of industries including food, beverages, active pharmaceutical ingredients, pet foods, personal care products and others.
