Representatives of 3-A SSI joined in the recent European Hygienic Engineering and Design Group (EHEDG) World Congress at La Cite des Congres des Nantes in Nantes, France. The event brought together over 350 professionals from 25+ countries and featured more than 40 speakers who shared invaluable insights on the latest challenges and innovations in hygienic design.
The two-day program centered on innovative solutions, celebrated advancements in hygienic design and food safety, and offered new connections and networking opportunities in a display area with tabletops from many leading product/solution providers. Attendees gained valuable insights into emerging technologies, best practices for plant design, and the future of food safety across various industries.
The next EHEDG World Congress will take place from October 27–29, 2026 in Vienna, Austria.
On the right, 3-A SSI Chair John Kuhnz (Dorner Manufacturing Co.) met EHEDG officers and other leaders who share a long history of affiliation with 3-A SSI at various levels, including Andy Timperley (left, Timperley Consulting), a current 3-A SSI Certified Conformance Evaluator and a frequent contributor to 3-A SSI education programs.
3-A SSI participated in the display area with a tabletop exhibit to introduce attendees to 3-A SSI Knowledge Resources and details on the 3-A Symbol authorization and certificate programs. Interest in 3-A SSI design criteria and training/education products continues to grow across the U.S. and around the world.
